    Verdict

River Lena gets the confident vote to win this maiden with Sweet Lime and Crimson Flame rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Snow Crystal last time out. That form sets the standard in the context of this race and he need only run up to that mark to score. Sweet Lime rates the main danger on his latest second behind Silent Times but that form has since been let down and for that reason he is overlooked on this occasion. Crimson Flame is another worthy of respect on his latest fourth behind Nihaal but he has given the impression in the past he would be suited by a longer trip. Of the remainder Mystified and Pound Sign showed ability on their debuts and look sure to improve but River Lena sets a fair standard and he is taken to score.
