In depth

Verdict

Daddy Warbucks has been in good form but may find the ground a bit lively while local entry Dream Walker tackles this trip for the first time though he's been staying on over shorter. Kathleensluckylad started favourite when last seen here in May but was well beaten and has been given a break while Red Shadow is another facing the trip for the first time and was beaten in a seller here in May. JAY KAY has the inside draw and provided he doesn't get cut off at the bend he can prove best here as he was going on strongly over Chester's tight mile last month and will be suited by this stiff uphill climb. Military Green looks the main threat as he stayed on strongly to score over 6f at Redcar. That was on soft ground but there's no reason why he shouldn't handle these faster conditions though he's drawn on the wide outside. Mad For Fun is another to consider in an open event.
