Verdict

King Of The Celts was touched off by Pintrada over the course and distance last time and from this mark should get into the action again with Eddie Ahern an interesting booking. Maybeme won over the course and distance last month and palpably failed to stay 2m1f at Doncaster four days later while it's a surprise to see Enery dropping back in trip after coming with a late run to score over 1m4f at Wolverhampton. However, Mark Johnston has won this with a three-year-old in the past so his charge looks a threat to all as does Goldenveil, who has dropped an astonishing 26lb in the weights since this time last year. Dean Iarracht likes it around here and can go well though it's SAINT THOMAS who is handed the vote as his only two victories on Turf have been over this course and distance and he's dropped to a fair mark these days and Franny Norton was in cracking form here last week.
