Verdict

Tin Pan Alley arrives here on a hat-trick after recent victories over the course and distance. David Griffiths' charge was a handicap snip last time after his earlier victory as he was dropped in grade but this is a step-up in class and his winning run may come to an end. King Of The Celts has won three times in a long career, two of them on this track including last month when Rachel Richardson steered him to a narrow victory. He's still well enough treated to be in the shake-up but a chance is taken with PRIMOGENITURE, who is visored for the first time. David O'Meara's import from Ireland was bought for hurdling though he's failed to fire in his two outings over jumps to date. He's won off a higher mark than this and is given the nod though Miss Lucy Jane, who was in tremendous form at this time a year ago, is another to keep an eye on in a competitive heat.
