    Verdict

Coolminx was a ready winner on debut despite running green and should be in close order again here but DORBACK's form from his debut effort is hard to argue with so we'll just side with Henry Candy's charge while Brambleberry now looks exposed in this company. We are willing to forgive the pick's second run last time which came on ground that probably was too soft. On debut he despatched Group Three winner Buzzword easily enough on his way to victory so back on similarly fast ground he has to be taken seriously. His main threat looks to be coming from Coolminx who is a well bred sort from Richard Fahey's yard. A win on his first run came despite plenty of signs improvement should be forthcoming but we don't yet know the value of that form. Brambleberry is yet to show he is as good on turf than he is on Polytrack and looks exposed to a progressive sort as does Camacho Flyer, who may also prefer cut in the ground. This Novice event looks a match with Dorback given a chance to bounce back to winning ways.
