A wide open maiden here and as usual in these events the market will be a good guide but the principals look to be Cesare, Chanteloup, Murbaat, and Premier Dream and the vote goes to Cesare. The selection was a good second on his debut behind Hassayis under similar conditions he is sure to have learnt from the experience and will be hard to beat. Chanteloup is a stable companion of the selection and this well bred filly is a half sister to Boarder Arrow so it will be interesting to note how the two compare in the betting ring. Murbaat is another well bred sort being by Deploy out of a fair stayer but his pedigree suggests he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Premier Dream has shown a modicum of ability to date but he may do better when he goes handicapping so for the winner we return to Cesare.
