In depth

Verdict

Motu, Redwood Riocks and Torquemada are three against the field in this wide open handicap and the narrow vote is given to Redwoodrocks. The selection has dropped to a handy mark and shaped as if returning to form when second behind Burnley Al. He has the plot draw and looks a value bet in an open affair. Motou rates the main danger on his latest third behind Piper's Song but he now looks in the handicapers grip. Torqemada won well last time when beating Flying Bantam and is another with place claims but he will need to improve again to defy his penalty. Of the remainder High Voltage is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but in a race where the market could be very informative for the winner we return to Redwood Rocks.
