        Verdict

        Knavesmire can put her experience to good use in this maiden and see off the challenge of Soul Sista and Holst. The selection has run well on both of her starts to date and she lost no caste in defeat when chasing home Saxford last time out. She finished narrowly ahead of Another Luke that day, so if that horse runs well in the opening race here today then it will give the form a big boost. Soul Sista recovered from a slow start to chase home Northern Tour on her debut at Folkestone so if she can build on that effort then she is entitled to go close. Holst is an interesting newcomer but Tim Easterby's string have yet to hit top gear and this colt may be best watched on his racecourse debut. Pat Haslam's Rioja Ruby has a good draw and she is certainly worth a look in the market on her racecourse bow. However, this looks a good opportunity for Knavesmire who can open her account at the third time of asking.
