A tricky contest with so many unexposed animals in the line-up, but one thing is certain, the draw is set to play a major part. High numbers always hold sway in Beverley sprints, and Marcus Eile in stall 11, has the advantage of a run over all bar three of his opponents. Karl Burke¿s charge was only denied a short-head by the odds-on Straw Poll on his Newcastle debut and will be better suited by the faster ground here. That form looks better than that of another son of Daggers Drawn, Sir Ernest who has raced twice on the all-weather, and is not as well drawn as the likely favourite here. Of the newcomers, Saros and Four Amigos are both badly drawn but get favourable mentions on their homework.
