Verdict

A wide open contest in which the market may prove the best guide and a chance is taken on Cool silk. He is from a yard in top form and he is related to juvenile winners so he should be forward enough to score on his debut. King Tara showed enough on his debut when sixth behind Mac The Knife to suggest he can win a race of this nature and he is sure to have learnt from the experience. Jacob is another well bred newcomer worthy of respect he is from the bang in form Paul Blockley yard and he is sure to know his job. Bold Blade is a Sure Blade colt from a shrewd yard and he to is worth a look in the market. Yarn Spinner is from a yard who's horses usually come on for the run and he may be best watched on this occasion. Of the remainder Peruvian Style also catches the eye on breeding but he was a late foal and may need more time.
