Sharaiji Blossom can add to Godolphin's terrific recent record, with Naivety and Musical Day her main opponents on paper. The boys have in blue have been in unstoppable form over the past fortnight, sending out nearly 20 winners, and with just about the same amount placed, so it is hard not to side with Sharaiji Blossom despite the fact that this is her debut. The daughter of Canadian sire Saint Ballado is bred to stay further than today's distance in time and is sure to know her business. Ideally drawn in stall 12, she can overcome inexperience to account for Naivety, a late foal who was the only one to trouble the odds-on Playful Act on her Newmarket debut. Clive Britain had a nice juvenile winner in Amalie at Redcar on Monday so this filly should go well. However, she has it to do from stall two and is passed over. Musical Day comes from a stable in form lately, and was very unlucky on her last visit here when beaten a short-head by Gold Queen. She should be placed at least, but we shall stick with Sharaiji Blossom to go in first time.
