Juantorena must surely make the most of this opportunity, with One Great Idea, the aptly named Beverley Beau, and the so far disappointing Molly Dancer best of the rest. Juantorena has held his form well since finishing fourth in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot, posting yet another placed effort when chasing home Premier Fantasy at Haydock. None of his opponents today can match his form so far, and although you could say that he has been disappointing, he can have no excuses here with everything in his favour. He just needs to get out quickly from stall six and grab the rail, and from then on it should be plain sailing. That is the theory anyway, so let us hope that he sticks to the script. One Great Idea seemed not to stay at Haydock is tried back over the minimum again, while Beverley Beau tried hard but looks hard to win with. As for Molly Dancer, Mick Channon's filly has been well touted all season due to some excellent work at home. However, she has failed to translate that ability to the track up to now, and even though the stable is back in form, it is hard to be confident about her chances. The market will speak volumes for the Stuart Williams contender, Pretty Woman, but Juantorena has the class to finally come good.
