CLASSICAL PIECE is a speculative call against Orpen Arms and Dazakhee. The Sanderson team have rather gone under the radar with their fair start to the season and we can expect to get a fair price about the son of Brahms. He showed well over this trip at Lingfield on his second start and if he can act on the turf, at the odds, there could be value to be had. Orpen Arms has struggled off similar marks last term though she could not be faulted for her effort at Musselburgh on seasonal reappearance. Dazakhee hasn't been seen out since landing a Southwell contest. The yard are in rude form at the moment so expect him to be fairly warm in the betting. Set Back probably ran into an above average sort last time out so a failure to continue a winning run can be ignored. Hoof It looked a nice prospect on the runs we saw last summer so the market is watched on his first run in the spring. Fibs And Flannel makes an interesting step up in trip in the colours of Jim McGrath. Right Rave hails from a stable that are sending out winners and while she has struggled to find the winners' enclosure, there is optimism about chances of hitting the frame. Sixties Rock has gradually dropped down the weights and may be a more viable proposition if the sun dries out the surface. Classical Piece is the call.
