Shekan Star is the pick in a very open finale, Creek Dancer and Miss Amour are also expected to go well. Keith Reveley's filly comes here fresh having had a couple of months off. She had put in two excellent performances in May, just getting pipped by Bella Pavlina, before running sixth behind Uncle Bulgaria. She gets in here on a mark of 49 and against this weak opposition must have strong claims. Creek Dancer is no world beater but runs consistently well against this type of opponents and should be involved in the finish. Miss Amour was well beaten in a better race at Windsor last time but is better judged on her previous third to subsequent winner Mickehaha. In a race where the mortgage money should not be invested, Fortune's Fair can also be given a squeak, however Shekan Star looks the pick of the weights and gets our vote.
