Birdland is very well treated on the terms of this race and well be able to follow-up his distance victory at Kempton from earlier in the week. However, his high draw does temper the confidence a little and he will need to put in an improved performance to register his second win in the form book. Woodland Blaze should find this stiff uphill finish more to his liking after failing to handle the undulations at Chepstow last time and rates as a big threat - especially after Richard Quinn was confirmed for the ride. Penny Ha Penny is also going the right way and has solid claims of getting the better of Woodland Blaze on a line through Maty Tun.
