LIBERTY SHIP can gain a deserved success here after a string of consistent efforts; the list of alternatives is headed by Sands Crooner and Babyshambles. The selection was only beaten a head by Requisite at Ripon last time out and he could gain his compensation this afternoon. He is in good heart, he has conditions to suit and if he can get an easy lead here then he could he hard to catch. Babyshambles is a course and distance winner and he wasn't beaten far in a competitive handicap at Leicester last time. He has the worst of the draw today but he has to be respected. Sands Crooner was a winner last time out at Lingfield and from the best of the draw he should make a bold bid to follow up. Atlantic Beach has the visor on again today but it didn't really spark him into life last time and he is hard to fancy at present. There are plenty in with chances and the vote goes to Liberty Ship.
