Verdict

Chimali, Amanda's Lad and Elliot's Choice look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the coincident vote goes to Chimali. The selection was a fair fourth on his debut behind Red Sovereign last season and although he has a 332 day absence to overcome he will not need to improve much to win this Elliot's Choice rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Scottish Excile but he is only rated 66 and it will be disappointing if the selection is not better than that. Amanda's Lad is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Wicked Uncle but he to is rather exposed. Of the remainder Intavac Boy has shown a modicum of ability in two runs to date and is another with place claims but for the winner we return to Chimali.
