In depth

Verdict

Swainsworld, Little Jimbob and Riley Boys are three against the field in this competitive handicap and the vote goes to Little Jimbob. The selection has been in fair form of late and a reproduction of his latest second behind Kamanda Laugh off the same mark would make him hard to beat. Swainsworld rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Awsome Love in a maiden but he looks to have plenty of weight for his first foray into handicap company and for that reason he is opposed. Riley Boys is another that could go well he has won over course and distance in the past and has conditions to suit but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when second behind Low Cloud last time and he is overlooked on this occasion. Of the remainder Man Of Letters would have a chance on his second behind Sound Of Fleet a couple of runs ago but he was very disappointing last time so can not be backed with any confidence. Annie Harvey is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but she has been done no favours by the draw and for the winner we return to Little Jimbob.
