        Verdict

        Kodiac Brown Bear revealed a good attitude to oblige at Musselburgh last week and has every chance of completing a quickfire hat-trick under his 6lb penalty. He now steps up a level though to Class 5 and is taken on with NIGHT MOMENT. The Johnston colt has to give weight away to all rivals but posted a really good effort on seasonal reappearance when an unlucky fourth - only beaten a length - at Brighton last week. He's a generally consistent type who should run his race. Rhoscolyn showed definite spark last time on just a second run for the O'Meara team and is shortlisted along with the solid and reliable Michael Dods gelding, Diamond Haze.
