Verdict

Mark Johnston has won this twice in the past four years and has a fantastic record on the track so UNIVERSAL can defy a penalty for Monday's Epsom victory where there looked plenty more to come. Chapter Seven has been competing at a high level since his Doncaster victory but Spirit Of The Law looks high in the weights following his success on soft ground at Yarmouth. Glittering Gold was a big disappointment at Windsor after his maiden victory at Folkestone while Sheikhzayedroad looked as though he needed blinkers after swerving across the course at Newmarket though he has plenty of ability. Nemushka takes a step-up in class from her Yarmouth success and is 6lb higher while Watheeq will also find this tougher than her victory on Polytrack at Lingfied and Daghash has gone up 3lb for being beaten at Warwick.
