made all, ridden and kept on well inside final furlong

slowly away, tracked winner, ridden over 1f out, kept on same pace, always held by winner
QUITE A THING demolished modest opposition on her debut at Lingfield, breaking the course record for juveniles in the process. This is a bit tougher but Sir Mark Prescott's filly receives weight all round and should follow up. Alejandro won in a higher grade at Musselburgh in April but hasn't quite replicated that form since. He should run his race again, however, and looks the main danger to the selection as Brasingaman Espee finished tailed off on his debut at Haydock and Triggerlo was engaged to run at Haydock yesterday.
Alejandro (IRE) 9-4 (9-0) Tracked leaders, pushed along over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, kept on to take 3rd towards finish, 3rd of 5, 8l behind Frederick Engels (8-11) at Musselburgh 5f 2yo stks (2) gf in Jun.
Brasingaman Espee 33-1 (9-0) In touch in rear, outpaced halfway, last of 6, 28l behind Barolo Top (9-0) at Haydock 6f 2yo mdn (5) gs in Jun.
Quite A Thing 3-1 (9-0) Made all, driven clear entering final furlong, readily, won at Lingfield 5f 2yo flls mdn auc stks (6) std in Jun beating Split Second (9-0) by 8l, 7 ran.
Triggerlo 7-1 (8-10) Tracked winner, upsides winner when short of room and badly hampered and hit rail halfway, no chance after and lost 3rd inside final furlong, 4th of 6, 11l behind Marygold (8-5) at Brighton 6f 2yo mdn aut (5) gs in Jun.
