STAR OF ST JAMES is only 1-21 on Turf but looks well treated nowadays and he has a decent draw in this. He’ll strip fitter for a recent pipe-opener as will Ebury, who is now visored. One Hart has won over 7f on Tapeta but is best on that surface. Clotherholme won over a mile off this mark here last June and Spartakos will love the going. Makalu has only gone up a pound for finishing second at Thirsk but has been done no favours by the draw.
