Calm Bay won this last year on soft going from the same mark and has been racing on ground too quick this summer. He finished well in front of DANZ GIFT when scoring at Down Royal in June but the latter reversed the form when runner-up at Naas three weeks ago and with Pat Smullen taking over Sheila Lavery's charge is taken to finally lose his maiden tag. Enter The Red is in cracking form and the form of his recent victory over Cash Or Casualty could be given a boost earlier but Ability N Delivery hasn't won a race since March 2012 though he's been placed on numerous occasions and is quite well handicapped. After victories here and at Navan in July, Catwilldo may just be in the grip of the handicapper.
