Verdict
Potential punters will need to ignore the last run of VALAC to get involved with Dermot Weld's charge but his earlier form would be good enough for this. An even money favourite at Galway, he ran no sort of race but his previous runs behind three Ballydoyle inmates suggest that last effort was just a blip. Dream Craft usually shows good pace in her races so dropping back in trip should be a help but Approbare finished last when stepping up to this distance at Naas three weeks ago. Hushed Tones has the pedigree for this but hasn't shown much to date.
