In depth

Verdict

Nikita Kane rode Geological to victory at Down Royal and again when he was fourth at Dundalk but 5f looks on the short side. That's Mad finished ahead of the former and TIDE OF TIME (NAP) at Down Royal in June and was a couple of lengths ahead of the latter again when successful here last month but worse off at the weights today and also poorly drawn. Ed Lynam’s charge is due a change of luck and can take his revenge today under the excellent Dylan Browne McMonagle. Poet's Pride is best at Dundalk while Sligo winner was well beaten off his new mark at the Curragh.
