Butterfly Island was keeping on when only beaten a head over 7f at Leopardstown so it was a surprise to see him race over 6f subsequently. GABBYS GIRL has shown progressive form and, though closely matched with Capitulation on recent Leopardstown running, could be the value in a competitive opener with Siobhan Rutledge taking off 7lb again. Fellow improver Nawraq, just beaten at Gowran last time, also has claims and Chicago Soldier was three lengths ahead of the selection in a Group 3 last month but is now a massive 20lb worse off taking into jockey claims.
