Verdict

SWEETEST TABOO won this last year from a 9lb higher mark and bounced back to form when beating Wild Bob Cat a neck at Tipperary. There's very little in the revised weights but the winner's track experience can count. Pillar is the other course and distance winner in the line-up and he was in good form for most of last season though hasn't run since October. Gopsies Daughter hasn't come anywhere near last season's excellent form though there was signs at Cork that she may be on her way back but Guiding Star is 1-41 and overlooked despite a fair run at Sligo last time. Ty Rock Brandy has only won on the all-weather but the assessor has given him a chance as he's been dropped 2lb in the ratings from a decent run at Down Royal.
