CORRIB usually runs well here and should be able to gain a prominent position from her low draw. She gets the vote as she is only 4lb higher than when comfortably beating Cuckoo Rock over this trip at Chepstow in June. Recent Chepstow runner-up Bold Cross is back on a winning mark but has never scored over this distance, while Dream Of Fortune has been beaten in sellers in his last two starts. Pennfield Pirate may still be too high in the weights but Beneath was only beaten a head over 1m3f at Carlisle at the start of the month, though has yet to win on turf.
