Indian Edge gets the narrow vote in a wide open handicap, Merrymadcap and Legal Lover could provide most danger. Bryn Palling's charge has steadily improved on the turf this season, culminating in an excellent second at Windsor behind Veiled Applause. There is probably more to come and he looks the best option. Merrymadcap disappointed last time out at Sandown but his previous run behind The Gaikwar gives him solid claims. Legal Lover won in game fashion last time out but may now be a bit high in the weights nevertheless he could still run into a place. All in all a very difficult race to assess and Indian Edge is just a token choice.
