Gordon Flash was having just his second start in almost two years when a decent fourth at Newbury and is well enough weighted to produce a big run. The Calling Curlew does better on softer ground while Eastern Magic was beaten a long way when favourite on his reappearance at Newbury. Dual Polytrack winner Holden Eagle didn't run badly on his return to Turf last time but everything here points to a follow-up victory for TAROUM, an impressive winner in an apprentice contest at Brighton a week ago and very well handicapped as he escapes a penalty. The consistent Laser Blazer may do best of the remainder.
