Isobel Rose can make experience count, with Centreboard, Our Mona, and What a Treasure taken to give her most to do. Isobel Rose looked destined for better things when chasing home Nina Blini at Warwick in May, but has not really progressed in two subsequent starts, so cannot be considered a good thing here. However, she should be able to make experience count in this field and can open her account. Centreboard looked an assured future winner when a close runner-up on her Lingfield debut, but was tried a little too highly at Windsor next time, ending up in mid-division. She will be more at home back down a grade and is a threat to the selection. Our Mona is sure to have been well prepared by Mick Channon, and would not have to be a world-beater to take a hand, while What A Treasure may be suited by this drop back to the minimum, at this stage of her career at least. For the winner we return to Isobel Rose.
