Striding Edge has been disappointing so far and it’s not certain a step up in trip will bring about a change of fortune. The Charm Spirit, third over a mile at Lingfield latest and now blinkered, is having only his second run on Turf so further progress is likely and he appears to have the beating of Good Time Charlie.
