Verdict

A few of these are looking to bounce back having disappointed last time. Mark Johnston has won two of the last three renewals but Special Fighter finished last at Ripon on his latest start while Approaching Star flopped when sent off favourite at Kempton. Cape Karli failed to build on her debut fifth at Leicester with a poor effort at Thirsk so a chance is taken that MYMATECHRIS can take a step forward instead of back. He finished behind subsequent handicap winner Anglo Irish at Lingfield back in January and gets a tentative vote.
