Verdict

MAID OF TUSCANY went close over today's trip on the Turf course at Lingfield earlier this month. She should confirm running with fifth-placed Dark Days and gets the nod ahead of Bishop Wulstan. The latter found only one too good at Brighton last week and Cam Hardie's 7lb allowance will help his cause. The remainder are hard to fancy including Chesil Beach given she won only a lowly seller on the all-weather before failing to figure in a handicap last time.
