Oakley Heffert has been taking on good opposition of late and can return to winning ways in this less competitive handicap, Mickmacmagoole and Grand Art could provide most danger. Richard Hannon's charge hasn't been successful since landing a Windsor handicap last October, but has run some solid races in defeat. The pick of those efforts was when finishing runner up to the smart Bergonzi over this trip off a two pound higher mark. A repeat of that run should be good enough this afternoon. Mickmacmagoole had little chance in a Group two event at York last time out but certainly comes into the argument on his previous success at Yarmouth. Meanwhile Grand Art landed a double in the summer and can be forgiven his latest run at Chester as he didn't handle the track. The pick of the remainder could be Hibiki, but Oakley Heffert can win this on his best form and he gets our vote.
