Verdict

There may only be five runners in this but it looks wide-open. Belle Dormant won a little race at Brighton eight days ago but has to concede 6lb to the others, though has a promising 7lb claimer on board. Free To Love seemed to find 5f too short when favourite at Goodwood and should be winning soon while Ertidaad has been placed the last twice at Doncaster and Chepstow. ORIENTAL SPLENDOUR was a little disappointing at Windsor earlier this month but that was only his second start of the current campaign. On last year's form, he should be good enough to win a contest like this. Houdini hasn't been disgraced in his last two and should make a race of it.
