SOLO RIVER has been in great form of late and he is taken to continue in his winning ways, while Oronsay and Gracechurch are both possible dangers. The selection seems to always come good around this time of the year. He caught the eye when finishing second at Brighton on his penultimate start before winning at Leicester last time out. The handicapper has only penalised him by putting him up two pounds for that success and if at his best once again he will take all the beating. Oronsay ran well to finish second behind Party Palace at Chepstow last time out. She has crept down the weights since last season and could now be potentially well treated so she is respected. Gracechurch is a seasoned professional and always seems to run well at this track. He was a good second to Hatch A Plan over course and distance last time out and can once again enter the frame, however, Solo River is the form horse in the race and is the preferred pick.
