AIR MAZE makes plenty of appeal in this finale and she gets the vote over Fong's Alibi and Heartsease. Sir Mark Prescott is in decent form and there was plenty to like about the way our selection won her maiden at Wolverhampton back in February. She looks to have been given a fair mark for her handicap debut and if she is fit enough to do herself justice on her return to action the she should be the one to beat. Fong's Alibi will have no such fitness concerns and she ran well when chasing home Fire King at Lingfield last week. She was no match for the winner that day but it was an improved effort and it will be interesting to see if she can build on that. Heartsease wasn't beaten far last time by Chadwell Spring at Lingfield but she doesn't exactly shape as though she is crying out for this longer trip and we will take her on. William Muir is in good form so Welsh Anthem could be of interest now that she is upped in trip. Triple Cee has yet to prove she sees out this trip and we will stick with Air Maze who looks a much safer bet.
