Galantos has shown improved form since being stepped up in trip on the all-weather of late but is not certain to carry on the same improvement now returned to turf off his new mark and a better bet looks to be Coda Agency, who gets the vote ahead of Top Trees. The selection remains a maiden after 15 starts but has been running well since stepped up to staying trips of late on both the sand and on turf and he is taken to gain a deserved first success today. Silencio has been running well over hurdles recently but does not appear to be particularly well treated for his return to the level, while Lord Nellsson could probably do with a bit more help from the handicapper. Voir Dire was well held on his return to the flat last time and is hard to recommend on that evidence, while Darusso has given little sign of encouragement of late. Top Trees was not disgraced at Goodwood last time and has claims on that evidence but preference is for Coda Agency, who is taken to gain a deserved first success.
