In depth

Verdict

Richard Hannon's juveniles have been in flying form and Hurricane Alan confirmed the merit of his debut effort when easily landing the odds at Brighton. Good claimer booked to offset part of the 7lb penalty and looks sure to give another good account. Bravo Ragasso also carries 7lb extra for a hard-fought Kempton debut success but had his limitations exposed when well held in minor event at Newmarket's Craven meeting. Never A Doubt will have little difficulty in picking up a race of this nature judged on her excellent debut second to highly regarded sort at Salisbury (pair clear) earlier in month and gets all the weight allowances here.
