In depth
Verdict
Rival hails from a yard with a good record here and is well drawn but has failed to confirm the promise of juvenile form on either start this term. Misty Dancer would have claims on his Goodwood second to Simeon in September but refused to settle on his return. Homespun's fitness has to be taken on trust but will be hard to beat if repeating her Newbury third to Misterah in August. The daughter of Reprimand runs here rather than a Goodwood engagement later in the week while Bubble Up and Trojan have both shown themselves capable of winning race of this nature with solid recent efforts in similar company and are others to consider.
