This is not the best of races and what can only be a tentative vote goes to the consistent Talcen Gwyn who is taken to give weight away all round, with the main threats looking to be Jucebabe and Sands Crooner. The last mentioned has done most of his winning on the all-weather but opened his account on turf when taking a handicap over course and distance last month; however, he would probably want a softer surface so may be best watched. Endless Summer has run better in his last two starts and has claims if able to build on those efforts, while Briery Lane is capable but inconsistent. Piccostar has slipped to a decent mark but may want the ground to be faster and of more interest may be John Spearing's Jucebabe, who is on a winning mark.
