Sudoor probably found the ground softer than ideal when disappointing at Ascot last time and looks worth another chance today in a race where the main dangers look to be the improving Our Faye and Basaata. The last mentioned stepped up on previous form when a creditable second in a Listed race at Goodwood earlier this month and is entitled to be thereabouts on that evidence. The William Haggas-trained Wagtail is going the right way but needs to improve again to trouble the judge, while Sesmen has yet to reproduce her two-year-old form and is probably best watched. Medley, a Newmarket handicap winner last month, needs to improve to take a hand and a bigger threat may come from Our Faye who has won all four starts this term but takes a big step up in class. Sudoor is proven in this grade though and looks the safest option.
