Verdict

A very difficult race to call with some in-form rivals pitting their skills against each other. Alasha sets the standard on the official figures and is taken as the TEAMtalk selection also. She found the ground had gone against her at The Curragh when she was last seen out, but was far from disgraced in finishing a close up third in the 1,000 Guineas in her previous outing. Sir Michael Stoute seems to have turned a corner with his string of late and Alasha is taken to score at the main expense of Desertion and Mamounia, who are respected, but have a little to find with their potentially top-class rival.
