Plenty of these have been successful over this course and distance including Merrymadcap, who gets the vote ahead of Parnassian and Bomber Command. The selection has been running consistetly well of late without troubling the judge, but it is his course and distance form that gets him the vote. He twice fuinished runner up to Indian edge back in May and a return to his favourite venue could do the trick. Parnassian won well at windsor last time off a mark of 63 and the rise in the weights shouldn't stop him getting involved in the finish again this afternoon. Bomber Command was just behind the selection at Wolverhampton last time and has a nice weight pull. Meanwhile Pommes Frites cannot be easily dismissed on recent evidence. It is a tough race to call but Merrymadcap is now down to a winning mark on his favourite course and he gets the decision.
