Trigger's Friend is selected in the penultimate race on the card with Brave Bugsy and Songmaster as the dangers. Jamie Poulton's stayer won well at Folkestone and provided that the ground does not dry out too much, she can be anticipated to defy a penalty under what is a nice racing weight. Brave Bugsy is worthy of note in the light of Andrew Balding's recent form. He won a bad amateur rider's race in fine style at the track but will need to repeat the dose from a higher mark. Stoop To Conquer pops up occasionally at big prices. He is not consistent. Songmaster steps up in trip having campaigned over shorter. There is a fair chance he'll get it on paper. Go Amwell has become something of a regular in dour staying events. Wotchalike has been kept busy over hurdles. He seems to act on any surface. Ex-Ralph Beckett charge, Sweet Request is another to step up. Hurdles winner, Irish Whispers is potentially well treated on some of his earlier form and is one to note if the market speaks in his favour. Trigger's Friend can make hay from a low handicap mark and should be up to following up her recent success.
