Only one three-year-old has won this in nine renewals. Irish raider Newsletter produced some fine runs last season and was only just behind the classy Tiggy Wiggy when third in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. She could prove best of the younger generation though Zuhoor Baynoona won two of her four starts and was placed at this level at York. Mike Appleby is making a name for himself and will be anxious to kick on this season. Demora proved herself a very smart performer when landing the Scottish Sprint Cup at Musselburgh but Clive Cox won this last year and can repeat the process. Musicora will need to improve though wears a first-time visor and could be capable of doing so though her stablemate MILLY's GIFT looks the better option. She won here in 2013 and appeared to make progress last term with two victories and her best ever performance on her final start in a Listed contest at Ascot.
