Verdict

Clive Cox won this with a short-priced favourite a year ago and the newcomer My Major bids to follow suit. A 77,000gns yearling, he's making a belated racecourse debut and is the only four-year-old in the line-up. Exoplanet Blue can be expected to make progress in her second campaign and is with the right man to handle her in sprints and Major Pusey led for a long way over 7f at Doncaster on his reappearance. FROSTMAN showed some potential last season when racing mainly in France. He showed very good speed on his return to action at Leicester and today's quicker going may enable him to hang on.
