    Verdict

KHAFOOQ has been generally disappointing since moving to the Cowell team after spending his juvenile career with Sir Michael Stoute where his form was more than good enough to land such a weak novice as this. He has been weakening late on of late but has plenty of early toe and will hopefully be more than good enough to deliver. Haats Off is consistent but limited and George Thomas could emerge as the main danger as he showed ability on debut when beaten just over 5l at Yarmouth behind Local History. Stable companion of the selection, Good Answer, may improve on a fair first run of the season on the Turf at Lingfield.
