GALEOTA may not be the force of old but he should still be good enough to account for this field; Swinbrook, Caribbean Coral and Fault may emerge as the dangers. Richard Hannon has an excellent record in claimers and his former Group 2 winner has been entered at a realistic weight as he bids to gain his first success since taking a Listed race at Doncaster a year ago. His form this year isn't comparable but he's versatile with regard to underfoot conditions and should retain enough ability to score at this level. Fault has struggled in competitive handicaps since winning at Kempton in April with a variety of headgear having little effect; he goes without any today and has plenty to prove. Swinbrook has had three runs for this yard and performed creditably enough; a visor is swopped for blinkers and he should run his race but he has something to find at the weights. So too does Caribbean Coral but there should be a strong pace here which will play to his strengths but perhaps not Misaro who usually races prominently. Green Lagonda may be able to bounce back whilst Boho Chic comes here on the back of a good run but preference is for Galeota.
